(DAYTON, OHIO), October 23, 2000...Standard Register today announced plans to equip
its full line of versatile LinkUp® intelligent printing solutions with SwiftView, Inc.’s electronic
information delivery software. Providing complete document production at the desktop, LinkUp printing
solutions will now enable customers to preview information and print select documents in place of full
print runs.
“Through our relationship with SwiftView, we’re helping customers ensure information accuracy
prior to printing as well as increasing their printing flexibility,” says Pete Aiena, senior
manager of Standard Register’s Program Marketing – Technology/Services Initiatives. “Customers can
capitalize on these advancements to print documents more efficiently and reduce their operational
expenses.” Aiena adds that SwiftView’s electronic information delivery software also enables Standard
Register to more efficiently serve customers during the LinkUp installation process. “Our technicians
can now preview documents and entire document kits when calibrating LinkUp printing solutions with
customer information systems,” he says. “As a result, we’ll dramatically reduce our installation time
and costs by minimizing the number of test print runs and related paper and supplies used during the
installation process.”
Easy to license, install and support, SwiftView’s electronic information software complements
Standard Register’s Less Paper Strategy® by helping customers further optimize their document
production. “We’re pleased to help strengthen Standard Register’s line of LinkUp printing solutions,”
states SwiftView, Inc. president, Randy Prakken. “Our ongoing collaboration will enable businesses to
further reduce costs, increase revenues and improve overall performance.”
Standard Register’s LinkUp solutions merge existing data with electronic forms and enable document
production enterprise-wide. Users can easily print checks, generate invoices, tax forms, billing and
account statements, transcripts, grade reports – virtually any printable document – with a few key
strokes from the desktop. For more information visit
