PORTLAND, Or, – Mar. 22, 2004 – As sales of its SwiftSend LoanDocsŪ Web-based document management and
delivery solution continue to grow, SwiftView Inc. has promoted Steve Harvath to the position of vice president,
SwiftSend operations. Formerly manager of special projects, Harvath will now focus on expanding operating processes so
the company may continue to provide new and enhanced products and services to its growing customer base.
Harvath has been employed with SwiftView for one year but has worked with the company's products for more than 15
years. In his new role, Harvath is responsible for most aspects of SwiftSend operations, including product development
and engineering, service operations, customer program management, and other support services.
"Steve has brought a great deal of technical, product and business management expertise to our staff and has made
tremendous progress in the development and deployment of SwiftSend," said company President Steve Bachelder. "His
expanded responsibilities as vice president of SwiftSend operations will enable the company to more quickly roll out
new and exciting product enhancements and target new vertical markets to drive growth."
Harvath, a 30-year industry veteran with patents in the United States and Europe, most recently was chief technical
officer of Lucent Technologies' Open Network Platforms division, where he was responsible for Lucent's programmable
switching products. Before that, he led the design and implementation of enhanced service platforms for Atlas Telecom
as chief technical officer and vice president of technology. Prior to joining Atlas, Harvath was director of product
management and director of engineering for Sidereal Corporation, where he focused on the development of products for
government agencies and large enterprises. He holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Michigan State
University, where he graduated with honors.
