PORTLAND, Or.- September 22, 2003 -
SwiftView, Inc., has been named to Deloitte & Touche's prestigious Technology Fast 50 Program for Oregon, a ranking
of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in the area by Deloitte & Touche LLP, one of the nation's leading
professional services firms. Rankings are based on the percentage of growth in fiscal year revenues over three
years, from 2000-2002.
SwiftView's 38 percent growth was driven in large part by the 2002 roll-out of SwiftSend LoanDocs, the company's
secure, Web-based document delivery service that is fast-becoming an invaluable tool within the mortgage industry.
According to SwiftView president Steve Bachelder, SwiftSend volume has more than tripled since January, as more lenders
choose SwiftSend over courier services to securely and almost instantaneously deliver closing and other loan documents to
their customers.
"Saving time and money while improving service is a pretty attractive proposition," said Bachelder. "The
timing of our SwiftSend launch was fortunate, with low interest rates generating record loan volumes. We've just
scratched the surface of the mortgage industry and have already identified many potential new markets for SwiftSend."
Bachelder noted the increasing risk of using insecure email attachments to send documents as another strong
selling point for SwiftSend. "Privacy and security regulations impose too great a liability exposure when
documents containing sensitive data like social security numbers are emailed," he said. "SwiftSend, which is
a highly secure method of electronic document delivery, is an ideal solution.
"We're very pleased to have been named to Deloitte & Touche's Technology Fast 50 for the third year in a row,
and look forward to an even stronger showing in 2003."
"In today's economy, double-digit percentage revenue growth is an exceptional accomplishment," said Todd Lindsey,
Technology, Media & Telecommunications Partner of Deloitte & Touche's Portland, Ore., office. "We commend
SwiftView for making the commitment to technology and delivering on the promise of market longevity. We are proud
to honor SwiftView as a Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 50 winner."
To qualify for the Technology Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2000 and
$1,000,000 in 2002, must be public or private companies headquartered in Oregon, and be a "technology company"
defined as owning proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating
revenues and/or devoting a significant proportion of revenues to research and development of technology.
Qualified winners of the 20 regional Technology Fast 50 programs in the United States and Canada are automatically
entered in the Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 500 program, which ranks North America's top 500 fastest growing
technology companies. For more information on the Deloitte & Touche Fast 50 or Fast 500 programs, visit
