PORTLAND, Or.- November 6, 2002 -
SwiftView, Inc., today officially released SwiftSend Gateway, an optional component for the company's SwiftSend
LoanDocs service that enables users whose documents are printed from a dedicated server to use SwiftSend's unique
web-based document delivery service. SwiftSend Gateway also gives users more flexibility when delivering
closing packages from large volume batch processing loan origination systems (LOSs).
"SwiftSend gave us exactly what we wanted: an electronic document delivery service that could transmit docs for
a person to sign an hour after I send them," says Tim Kosmos, Regional Manager for Finance America's Wholesale Division.
"SwiftSend has also put us in a better position to track packages; now we can see exactly when the recipient opened
and printed the package. And if we do have to resend, it is very easy to enter a new address and resend it in
a few seconds. SwiftSend has greatly enhanced our service."
"While most mortgage document processors are on desktop systems, the Gateway makes it possible for any mortgage
company to use SwiftSend's easy-to-use, feature-rich document delivery service, even if they're on a mainframe system,"
says Randy Prakken, president of SwiftView, Inc. "Finance America runs an AS-400 with a central print server and
the Gateway simply emulates a local printer, one that uploads documents to the SwiftSend website. Their users
have the same experience as someone at a desktop who is 'printing' directly to the website."
No service but SwiftSend has the following exclusive features:
· Verifiable Proof of Delivery, a patent-pending process that confirms when a document was actually viewed
· Outbox/Inbox, email-like user interfaces that lets users track delivery, re-send to new recipients, and more,
with no IT help
· Previewing/Viewing of documents by sender or recipient for Quality Assurance
· Supervisor Reports: real-time HTML and Excel reports on delivery status, more
· Zero start-up cost
